How Does Sildenafil Work?
Sildenafil is a PDE-5 inhibitor that treats impotence and erectile dysfunction. It relaxes the blood vessels that take blood to the penis so that they enlarge. This causes a greater flow of blood to the penis; thus, it erects. It is important to note that Sildenafil helps achieve and maintain an erection only when sexually aroused.
Sildenafil Warning
Avoid using the pill if you suffer from any of the following conditions:
- Heart disease or blood pressure.
- Liver or kidney disease.
- Retinitis pigmentosa.
- You have had a heart attack or stroke within the last six months.
- You are a hemophiliac.
- Sickle cell anemia or leukemia.
- You have a physical deformity of the penis.
- Are taking a nitrate drug.
Directions for Use
- You should take one pill at least one hour before sexual intercourse.
- Some men will achieve results within 20 minutes of using the pill, while others may take one hour.
- It is against recommended directives to take more than one Sildenafil within 24 hours.
- For it to be most effective, take Sildenafil on an empty stomach. Limit alcohol intake for best results.
Sildenafil Ingredients
Sildenafil is the active element in each Sildenafil tablet, which comes in strengths of 25mg, 50mg, or 100mg. The inactive ingredients include: Microcrystalline cellulose, calcium hydrogen phosphate anhydrous, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, poly (vinyl alcohol), titanium dioxide (E171), macrogol 3350, and talc. Sildenafil Side Effects
Sildenafil may have the following side effects on men's health: headache, lightheadedness, flushing, and rarely a stuffy nose or indigestion. Sildenafil has a small risk of nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, and skin rash. In case of a medical emergency go straight to your local Accident & Emergency or contact the emergency services.
